Pray for our Cambodia staff who often travel long distances to connect with listeners, especially ethnic listeners. Please pray for their safety while on the road. Once they arrive at various locations, they distribute radios, demonstrate how to access FEBC broadcasts and pray for those attending.

India was especially hard hit with COVID-19 this year. Here’s what one listener shared: “There is little hope here right now; many people are dying and the suffering is immense. Yet when I listen to your programs, I feel at peace.” Pray that people of India will respond to the Gospel.
October 9th
Christians in Laos are listening to our broadcasts through shortwave radio, MP3 players, as well as Facebook Live. Bible studies and new churches are springing up. People are begging for more radios. Please pray that many will be drawn to Christ and find new lives in Him. Pray, too, for protection for new believers.

Almost every country around the world is struggling with the coronavirus. Pray against new and deadlier mutations. Pray that God will help us navigate this difficult season.
October 7th
In eastern Ukraine, people have been struggling with heightened tensions and the threat of war for 7 years. We broadcast to more than 250,000 listeners on both sides of the conflict. Pray for FEBC’s phone helpline that receives 1500+ calls a month from listeners who need hope. Pray for a compassionate spirit for our counselors and the right words to share the hope of Christ.

A listener in Mongolia wrote: “I just listened to an unforgettable program about overcoming one’s fears. At work, I was always afraid I would say or do the wrong thing. So I asked God to direct all my conversations. Now I pray to Him all the time to guide my words, because God gives me a spirit of love and power, not fear. I feel remarkable peace now.” Praise God for His impact on people who learn to lean on Him for all things!

Praise God for the 50 years that FEBC has been serving in Indonesia, sharing the Good News through radio in both the Indonesian language and 6 ethnic languages. In 2017, we also began broadcasting on 100+ local stations throughout the country, significantly increasing our listenership. Please pray for our programming staff.
October 4th
Our team in Thailand offers a Bible Correspondence Course that currently has 30,000 students. Many are in prison and have come to faith by studying the Bible. Pray for all students studying the life of Jesus, especially in this Buddhist-dominant country, where many consider Christianity to be a Western religion. Pray that their hearts will be open to God’s gift of salvation.

Praise God that one of our listener groups in Malawi grew so large that they established a new church! Pray that this body of believers will continue to grow and plant new churches. Pray, too, for wisdom and direction for Amos, FEBC’s director in this African nation.

Political unrest in Kyrgyzstan has led to an increase in listeners to our 6 FM stations. Please pray for more listeners to tune in and be open to learning about Jesus. Kyrgyzstan is a culturally Muslim nation, where people are expected to follow Islam.
