What if Russia Attacks?

FEBCFeatured Video, FEBC Blog 28 Comments

No one understands the implications of a Russian invasion better than the people of eastern Ukraine who survived the last incursion in 2014. Over 14,000 people lost their lives in that conflict. Now with troops amassed on the Eastern border of Ukraine, it appears Russia may soon invade Ukraine once again. Global tensions are high. War may be imminent.

What will be the impact on Ukraine? What are the implications for Gospel ministry? How is FEBC’s Eurasia ministry team—comprised of Christian broadcasters from both countries—staying united in Christ and keeping their focus on the ministry?

Victor Akhterov joins Ed Cannon to answer these questions and to ask for prayer. Please share this video with as many as possible. Prayer is greatly needed right now!

Your gift to support FEBC’s ministry to Ukraine & Russia will help share the hope and peace of Jesus Christ during these days of heightened anxiety and unrest. Thank you for your partnership in both prayer and financial support!

  3. Praying for peace and protection for Ukraine. God is able to keep you through this very difficult time!
    Praying Isaiah 43 over you!
    Do not fear, for I have redeemed you;
    I have called you by name; you are Mine!
    2 “When you pass through the waters, I will be with you;
    And through the rivers, they will not overflow you.
    When you walk through the fire, you will not be scorched,
    Nor will the flame burn you.
    3 “For I am the Lord your God,
    The Holy One of Israel, your Savior!
    I am God.
    13 “Even from eternity I am He,
    And there is none who can deliver out of My hand;
    I act and who can reverse it?”

  5. As one of your former supporters, I’m disappointed that you are getting into politics. This puts a roadblock to evangelism and causes persecution of evangelical Christians in former USSR. Please focus on the gospel and don’t repeat after the politicians.
    Neither Russians nor Ukrainians want the war, but other crooks from outside changed the textbooks in Ukraine and instigate young people to fight. They spread the rumors and you repeat them as truth. Don’t bring American troops to Ukraine and don’t accuse and instigate Russia. As a Christian organization, proclaim the gospel and stay out of politics! Otherwise, you only create hardship and confusing people, and turn local people against such “politicized Christians “. Pray more, accuse less!

    1. Thank you for sharing your concerns. As a matter of principle, FEBC does stay out of politics. This post is neither political nor accusatory. The video is about ministry, how to pray for the people of Ukraine, and how to pray for the ministry team who are sharing the Good News by radio.

  6. My father in the name of Jesus Cover all people of Ukraine with holy blood of Jesus put a marker to every believer and escape them from death.We ask again and again bring peace in this country that your word May reach everyone. In Jesus name.Amen

  7. This touched me so much. I lived in Kiev for a year teaching English in 1991-1992. Such a difficult time then. I was just telling my History class about the coming conflict. I am going to share this video with my Bible class. We will be praying. For Ukraine.
