Their programs also include live phone-in programs that allow listeners to voice their opinions and ask questions, which leads many to Christ. Pray that many will accept Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

With access to platforms like Facebook Live, more people can now access our broadcasts, such as this listener from Laos: “If I didn’t have your programs to listen to, I would have ended my life by now. I had no hope and suffered many trials. But when I came to know the Lord through FEBC, I learned to believe in Him and now my life is very different.” Pray that we can reach many more through digital broadcasting.

Although Myanmar is resource rich, it’s considered one of the world’s poorest countries, where people suffer from poverty, hunger and a lack of freedom, especially following the military coup. Pray that God’s Word will continue to reach this nation of 55 million as FEBC broadcasts in the main Burmese language and 5 ethnic languages.

Everyone needs hope, and during difficult days, such as the pandemic, FEBC experienced a huge increase in listeners. In addition to broadcasts that encouraged people to turn to God, we increased our volunteer staff to assist with phone calls from desperate, frightened listeners, like this one from Russia: “I’ve been struggling with drugs and alcohol for years. Please pray for me to have victory over them; I do believe in the power of God!” Pray that God will continue to use our broadcasts to reach many.
