In 1987-1988, I was in the army and separated from family and friends. During that time I listened to FEBC’s broadcasts from the Philippines every morning at 5:30.

I had never heard about Jesus, so I continued to tune in every day. When my commanding officer found out, he demanded to know what I was listening to. He grabbed my radio and threw it in the water.

However, a seed had been planted, and several years later, when I heard a pastor talk about the Good News, I knew what he said was true. I was filled with joy! It seemed like God’s Spirit was with me.

I know He touched me through those radio broadcasts while I was a soldier. Now my entire family are believers, too!

I have been listening to FEBC on the internet since November 2007. Since there is no church in my area, several believers gather in a small household to worship.

During these Sunday morning services, we listen to your program called “Worship of the Air.” Afterwards, we watch videos on witnessing or family life. We also talk about our spiritual lives. Thank you for your broadcasts!
