Next week FEBC is launching our newest station, “Living Hope Radio” in the Nuba mountains of Sudan! The country is one of the most unreached, and war-torn nations in Saharan Africa.
There is precious little infrastructure—no paved roads, bad cell reception for internet, and no electricity or easy access to water. Due to this, FEBC’s team has installed solar panels to provide electricity to power the station.
Sudan is a challenging country to share the Good News, and the need there is great. In 2011, after a long civil war, Sudan was divided into what is now known as Sudan (the Muslim part) and South Sudan (the Christian part). Our station under construction is in Muslim-dominant Sudan and will be broadcasting to multitudes of Muslims.
This is the first FEBC station in the country, and for many in the area it will be the first opportunity to hear the Gospel in their own language. Despite being known for hostility towards Christianity, the local community and leaders near the station have been positive and open.
This is a wonderful opportunity for God to transform this nation through the Gospel. Please join us in praying for the expansion of our local staff, protection from the on-going civil war, and a huge harvest of souls this time next year!
Because of your partnership and support, FEBC is able to continue sharing the Gospel with people who are desperate for hope – Thank you!
