In every testimony of transformation, Jesus reveals Himself in pivotal moments. Paul was traveling to persecute Christians when God interrupted his path. David was hiding in unconfessed sin until God sent Nathan to confront him and call him back. And throughout the Gospels, Jesus meets people at their lowest, when they’re most desperate for a Savior.
We see that same pattern in countless listener stories at FEBC: God revealing Himself at just the right time. Whether someone’s faith has grown cold or they’ve been openly hostile to Christianity, God often breaks through when we least expect Him, yet most need Him.
Recently, our local team in Cambodia shared three stories of how God used FEBC to reach hearts, rekindle faith, and restore hope.
Reigniting a Believer
Meas Sat felt like his relationship with God was running on autopilot. He attended church, but his faith lacked depth and direction—until he discovered FEBC Cambodia.
“Through its Christ-centered programs, God’s Word came alive in my heart, strengthening my faith and awakening a deep desire to live out His purpose,” he shares. “The messages not only encouraged me—they transformed me.”
One of the first changes Meas noticed was a renewed passion for relationships. His family bonds grew stronger, and at church, he began leading youth and families in his community.
“Whenever possible, I save money to buy radios for my neighbors so they can also experience the hope and joy I’ve found.”
From Rock Bottom to New Faith
When Chhun Leang first heard the Gospel from her son, she ignored it. “I simply didn’t believe,” she says. But when she became seriously ill and her work began to crumble, despair set in. “I was crushed under the weight of hopelessness, anxiety, and sleepless nights. I felt like I had hit rock bottom.”
In this season of suffering, Chhun’s son came home with a radio. Chhun’s curiosity led her to listen, and everything started to change. She heard testimonies of people similar to her, in her heart language, and she realized restoration was possible through Jesus. “If others are healed through prayer,” she thought, “why not me?”
From that day forward, Chhun never missed the FEBC daily prayer program. Her heart grew lighter, and after three months of listening, she finally asked her son to take her to church. “I was so moved by the love and care of the church members,” she shares.
Chhun kept returning to church and felt hope coming into her life. She eventually decided to follow Jesus and has since grown into a leader within her church. “Now, I help lead a small group, and I reach out to others who are hurting, just as I once was.”
Restoring Broken Relationships
So Ren is a gentle and supportive husband, but he wasn’t always this way. “I used to be an abusive husband: violent, harsh, and constantly insulting my wife,” he shares. His home was marked by pain and brokenness.
God started writing a new story in So Ren’s life when he began listening to FEBC and attending FEBC’s Family Seminar. By hearing biblical teachings, his mind started to change, and his heart softened. He began to see what it truly means to love, care, and respect another.
“Now I treat my wife with gentleness, kindness, and support,” he tells us. “I help with the housework, care for our children, and try to be the husband and father God calls me to be.”
From his relationships to his emotional health to his work, So Ren credits Jesus for completely transforming his life. He’s now a part of a local church community and is working hard to earn an income and provide for his family.
