From June 6th to July 5th, Muslims across the world celebrate the most important religious holiday of their faith: Ramadan.
Each day during Ramadan, followers of Islam do not eat or drink anything from sunrise to sunset in order to reserve the time for introspection.
Prayer for FEBC’s ministries to Muslims are needed, especially in countries sensitive to the Gospel.
This year on Easter in Islamabad, Pakistan, a suicide blast in a park killed 69 people, most of them Christians, injuring over 300 others. Christians are a very small majority in countries like Pakistan and in other areas in the Middle East, putting them in very vulnerable positions during these times.
During this time, pray that many Muslims’ hearts will be open to receiving the Gospel and that no violence would erupt against Christians.
I pray I may be open to what Muslims have to share with me in their special days of prayer.
