In Kyrgyzstan, two of our staff, Ulanbek and Janysh, traveled up to our Issyk-Kul station to install a new processor and new satellite dishes. The journey up to the mountain was on a very rough road with large boulders blocking some parts of the road.
Eventually the team arrived at 11,400-foot top of the mountain, and installed the new equipment. With these changes, the signal is now even stronger and clearer than it was before.
The Issyk-Kul station reaches some 300,000+ people who live in the valley permanently, but the population increases drastically in the summer. Over 1 million people fill the valley during the summer months, coming from all over Kyrgyzstan to swim in the pristine lake surrounded by mountains.
Praise God that the team was able to make these improvements in time for the peak season of tourism.
After successfully installing the new equipment, Ulanbek recorded a video, thanking all of you, for your continued prayers and financial support for making this station happen.
