College Internships

Our internship allows you to partner with us by sharing stories of transformed lives overseas and engaging U.S. donors to get involved. You’ll learn valuable marketing & media skills you can use anywhere, while helping to fulfill the Great Commission in the context of modern media.

Here’s how you can join our team:

Writing/Editorial Intern

As a Writing and Editorial Intern you’ll help manage and create written content on our website and our multiple social media channels and blog. In addition, you’ll be responsible for writing for our newscast, as well as editing written content by other interns. You’ll gain experience in promotional writing, writing for fundraising campaigns, as well as develop skills in working within our web-platform and software platforms designed for non-profit organizations.


  • Writing listener stories from feedback sent to FEBC
  • Writing for FEBC’s newscast.
  • Writing & editing blog posts
  • Creating catchy and engaging language for visuals and social media platforms
  • Writing for various other campaigns & projects


  • Some experience in writing for publications, such as school newspapers/magazines
  • Experience in writing for blogs
  • An ability to gather facts and data quickly and efficiently
  • A good knowledge of punctuation and grammar; an eye for detail
  • Creativity and an ability to propose new ideas and projects
General Requirements
  • Currently attending college or recently graduated within the past 6 months
  • Be able to work out of La Mirada office 10-15 hrs per week (2-3 days out of the week)
  • Agree with and represent FEBC’s statement of faith
Design and Online Marketing Intern

As a Design & Online Marketing Intern, you’ll help manage online media projects including social media marketing,  graphic design, and/or blogging. You’ll gain experience in online marketing and fundraising strategies, as well as develop skills in industry-standard web and software platforms for organizations.


  • Manage and engage in primary social media channels (Facebook & Twitter)
  • Engage in secondary social channels (Google+. Tumblr, Pinterest & others)
  • Editing photos for web and email marketing
  • Writing & editing blog posts
  • Various other campaigns & projects


  • Active in social media, primarily Facebook & Twitter
  • Photo editing and graphic design within Adobe Photoshop
  • Learn new web interfaces quickly
  • A creative eye for photography and graphic design
  • Some experience writing articles or blogs 
  • Creativity and an ability to propose new ideas and projects
