This past summer, Compass Bible Church in Aliso Viejo, California, hosted a Vacation Bible School program called “Camp Compass.” Hundreds of children came for the event and FEBC was honored to be the primary ministry partner with the event.
Kids in the program were told about FEBC’s work to bring the Gospel to Hardest to Reach people groups by radio and were encouraged to help raise funds to distribute radios. As a result, over 275 radios were provided!
One girl, set up a stand at Camp Compass to sell lemonade and cookies to those attending. All told, she raised enough money to send a radio and allow up to 25 people to hear the Gospel in their native language. We are inspired by this story, and for all the kids at Camp Compass who gave to see the Gospel spread.
