Tuesday - 1
Praise from a Feba listener: "The feeling of brotherhood is a good feeling. It is wonderful to open your heart and find someone to collect your teardrops with love. You are my brothers in this life. You are like candles lighting my way and taking away all my sorrows. I will always be a faithful brother to you. I will always love you."

Wednesday - 2
Praise God for Feba's presence in Baghdad; one hour a day on a local FM station, and an evening shortwave schedule of 30 minutes per day! Pray for them as they expand their vision of "providing a voice of hope and reconciliation" through the development of their own FM station in this volatile city; pray for the license approval process, and for the engineering and production teams.

Thursday - 3
Please pray for Feba's Iraqi producers whose programs are designed to encourage believers in Baghdad. Also pray for their need to locate Iraqi believers who have a heart for their own people and are ready to be trained in radio production.

Friday - 4
"I have some neighbors near my Qat fields. We sit and talk about Jesus and your programs, which are so fruitful. They have a desire to know about Christ. But the neighbors near my home don't understand anything about Christ." - Pray that God will continue to use this Feba listener from Yemen!

Saturday - 5
Praise God for reports Feba received this year from Yemen indicating there are now many believers in the area! Currently their evening broadcast schedule is focused toward Muslims, but this news has inspired Feba to also begin development of a discipleship program. Ask God to guide them in producing programs for those without access to a church or other believers.

Sunday - 6
An FEBC-Thailand staff member recently traveled outside of Bangkok to visit listeners. He met a woman named "Auntie Sroy," who listens to the radio while lying in bed, as she is unable to walk or stand without great pain. Although she is mostly bedridden, she perseveres because of the program This Life Still Has an Answer, which gives her courage daily. Pray for this dear lady, who came to faith through the FEBC programs and was baptized in her home.

Monday - 7
"My faith in God is the direct result of your radio programs! Please continue to pray for me." Pray for this woman and other Thai listeners who look to FEBC programming for spiritual awakening, nurturing, and growth. Pray too for the FEBC staff who reach out to them through broadcasting, personal follow-up and visitation.

Tuesday - 8
Praise God for missionaries Bob and Barbara Bartz and the ministry opportunities He has opened up for them in Pretoria (South Africa) in addition to their work with Feba Radio. Barb began leading a weekly women's Bible study in April, and has joined their church's International Ministry, which reaches out to immigrants from other struggling African countries. Pray especially for their family in America; Barb's mom was diagnosed with thyroid cancer in late April.

Wednesday - 9
Please pray for Carlos Pena, Executive Director of the International Office (IO) in Singapore, and his staff as they provide support for the various fields. Pray for wisdom and clear guidance as they make decisions about broadcasting strategies and initiatives.

Thursday - 10
As of June, Australian missionaries David and Jan Bayliss are now based at the IO in Singapore; pray for them as they settle in and David begins service as field support engineer. Pray too for Chris Cooper and his family, who also serve at the IO. Pray especially for Chris as he works on his report concerning future directions of shortwave radio.

Friday - 11
FEBC's International Office e-mailed these requests shortly after the deadly Cyclone Nargis hit Myanmar in early May: "Pray for the many suffering victims of this devastation... aside from the grief and pain, the physical needs abound. Pray for the believers inside Myanmar as churches are doing what they can with limited resources. Pray for communication links to the country to improve in order for help to be extended more effectively." Thank God for protecting our broadcaster, his family and the facilities there.

Saturday - 12
Please pray for FEBC's current efforts to assist aid within Myanmar by connecting with other agencies.

Sunday - 13
FEBCambodia recently launched a 1-hour live program called My Ideal Person, designed to guide young people through the process of courtship. It's aired twice a week and has generated much interest and response. Pray that this popular topic will attract new listeners to the station.

Monday - 14
A number of FEBCambodia's team come from non- Christian families and sometimes encounter hostility for pressure to give up their faith. During a recent meeting, they discovered that many of their listeners share the same concern. Pray that they will stand firm in their faith, while demonstrating the love of God toward their unbelieving family members.

Tuesday - 15
Praise God for Jeremiah, an engineer that was seconded to Cambodia in late March for six months by FEBC-Korea. They report that he is a huge help with all aspects of engineering... including sorting out their computer problems! Pray for Jeremiah during his last few months of service at FEBCambodia and separation from his family; his wife and 2 children remain at home in Korea.

Wednesday - 16
The Prayer Target request for Monday, April 28, concerned the completion of Mongolia's WIND facilities. Missionary Chris Slabaugh recently wrote: "The engineers installing equipment here have been looking for a solution to a problem in the transmitter. Testing has been going on for several days. On Monday, when many people around the world were praying, a breakthrough occurred in the search! The transmitter problem has been diagnosed and appropriate measures begun... we want to thank all who have prayed and continue to pray for us during this time of intense work."

Thursday - 17
Today is our Day of Prayer. Please join us as we praise God for FEBC's support offices in Australia, Canada and New Zealand and pray for their staff and ministries. Ask God to supply His wisdom, strength and resources to each team member, whether full-time, part-time or volunteer.

Friday - 18
FEBC missionary Dean Brubaker, who lives and works on Saipan, recently sent these requests: "Please pray for wisdom as I seek solutions to equipment problems, and for the team's safety as they climb towers, ladders, and work with electricity and other machinery. Also continue to pray for new missionaries to help carry the workload."

Saturday - 19

Tuesday - 22
Praise God for Miyuki, who recently joined the FEBC-Japan team. Her job for the next year will be to update the Web/blog page, prepare their CD production/package for sale, answer the phones, and fulfill other tasks. Ask God to give her wisdom and a joyful spirit as she serves Him and learns the ministry and her job responsibilities.

Wednesday - 23
Please pray for wisdom and strength for Director Keiko as she leads the ministry of FEBCJapan. Also pray for Seiji, Assistant Executive Director, and Takanori, who has recently been appointed as Director of the Planning and Programming Division.

Thursday - 24
Praise God for enabling FEBC to broadcast programs via shortwave to 18 different tribal groups in rural Vietnam for 55 years! The director of our Vietnamese Ministries writes: "These broadcasts have had a phenomenal impact--especially among the Hmong in the highlands." Please continue to pray for protection, discernment and creativity for the broadcasting team.

Friday - 25
Thank the Lord for our broadcasters to the Hmong people group, and ask Him to give them continued grace and wisdom. One Hmong listener wrote: "I want to let you know that I listen to your programs and have accepted Jesus as my Savior. I now have peace, love and hope... and my life has been changed. I praise the Lord for FEBC's broadcasts to us. We live far from the city, but we hear the Word of God through FEBC and are saved."

Saturday - 26
