KIM S. WAS THRILLED TO RECEIVE a wind-up radio from FEBC. It’s one of the many ways the Lord has provided for Kim and her children since her husband died of AIDS five years ago. When her husband became seriously ill, Kim did whatever she could—even stealing the neighbor’s chickens—to feed her family. Her life was incredibly difficult until she came to know and believe in God through the witness of one of her neighbors. 
Shortly after coming to Christ she discovered FEBCambodia’s Family FM station, and began to listen faithfully on a radio she’d borrowed from a friend. Her husband began listening with her, and came to know the Lord through FEBC’s broadcasts—five days before he died.
Although her life still has challenges, Kim feels incredibly blessed. She and her children are regularly tested for the AIDS virus, and each time they receive a clean bill of health! Kim says that God’s goodness keeps her peaceful and happy.
The Lord also gives her much comfort and encouragement through FEBC’s broadcasts, and she loves it when we play her favorite song, Not One Minute Without God. "Listening to Family FM gives me so much joy and helps me grow in faith," she testified.
When her radio stopped working, she knew she just had to see if she could get one from FEBC. She came to the station and we were pleased to be able to meet her request. We’ve never seen a listener so delighted to receive a radio!
