"I WAS TRULY JOYFUL WHEN FEBC-Indonesia replied to my letter,” a lay pastor from a remote area of Sulawesi recently wrote. "When I heard the news that a package was awaiting me, I immediately went to pick up the gift from the post office in the nearest town. The journey took 3 days and 3 nights, by crossing mountains, valleys, and rivers without any vehicle. I had to travel on foot because it’s impossible to use transportation over such a rugged route.
I brought food with me for the trip. When night came, I depended on the natural riches of the jungle to build a shelter from wood and leaves. Nevertheless, I didn’t grumble, because now I can proclaim the Good News to my people.
