FILIPINO LISTENER RAMON WAS SO BLESSED BY
FEBC’s daily broadcasts that he decided to share God’s Word by distributing portable radios to people he knew... and even some he didn’t.
First, Ramon gave his aunt, who owns a restaurant, a radio. A new believer, she was anxious to share the Good News with her customers. She also placed Christian tracts on her counter, and was especially encouraged any time she’d hear her customers engaged in spiritual discussions.
“Her Christian patrons took cues from the broadcasts and began to reach out to their non-believing friends,” Ramon explained. “When my aunt saw this kind of response from the programs, she decided to carry tracts with her wherever she went,” he continued. “She gave them to people on the street, on trams, and even in jeepneys. Now the portable radio is a part of her life. She even takes it home and listens to FEBC until she retires for the night.”
But Ramon didn’t stop there. Encouraged by his aunt's excitement, he purchased radios for those who visited his church for the first time. “I noticed the people who received the radios often returned to church. I’m sure the broadcasts encouraged them!
“My wife and I are thankful to play a small part in helping people recognize their need for the Lord. We are blessed to be a part of God’s Work through your radio broadcasts.”
