FEBC IS PLEASED TO WELCOME three new members to our Board of Directors.

Dr. Harold J. Sala, FEBC Board member since May 2007, is a well known speaker, author and Bible teacher. He is the featured speaker on the daily Guidelines--A Five Minute Commentary on Living, which is heard on over 1000 radio stations around the world and translated into 15 languages.

Dr. Sala was associate pastor of Calvary Temple Church in Denver for three years. He later became Senior Pastor of South Bay Bible Church, Redondo Beach, CA. from 1966-1974.

He has served as founder and President of Guidelines International, Inc., since 1963. Dr. Sala and his family also served as missionaries to the Philippines through FEBC from 1974 to 1976.

Author of over 24 books published in various languages and hundreds of publications, Harold is a popular guest lecturer and teacher at universities. Harold and his wife, Darlene, have three adult children and eight grandchildren.

Richard Broadbooks, FEBC Board member since November 2007, Richard is a business consultant and CEO of Richard Broadbooks Associates, an East Coast firm specializing in financial and Human Resource systems for small to mid-size companies.

Richard and his wife Nancy are active in their church, where Richard has served as Trustee, Outreach Chairman, Administrative Board Chairman, Group Leader, and Sunday School Teacher. Outside the church he has been actively involved in City Team and Good Works.

Richard and Nancy have also participated in mission trips to Mississippi, following Hurricane Katrina, and Peru.

Richard and his wife have three grown children.

Jeffrey Otsuji, FEBC Board member since November 2007, Jeff is the National Sales Manager/General Manager for a division of Sanyo Denki, a Japanese electronics manufacturer.

His professional responsibilities require travel to Southeast Asia and China, where he sees people without hope because they do not know Christ. Jeff and his wife, Erin, have a heart for the persecuted church, for sharing the gospel in Asia, and for helping impoverished children.

In the business world, Jeff has watched men work hard during their income-earning years, only to question the value of making money as an end unto itself as they get older. “I believe God has challenged me to make a difference now, not when I get older,” Jeff said.

Jeff and his family attend church in Aliso Viejo, Ca.
