| I'M IN MY LAST YEAR OF HIGH SCHOOL. One evening, I accidentally tuned in to your radio station, and your programs really helped me. I first heard about God two years ago when a couple of Christians came to our classroom for 6 days. They talked about the Lord, which aroused laughter from our class because our teachers and textbooks all promote atheism. However, I’m not an atheist. I think that since everything in nature has been ingeniously designed, there must be an omnipotent God who is in control. Unfortunately, I live in a small country town where there are no churches, so I have no way to learn about God.
Last year, when the mid-term examination was over, I went to Shenzhen to celebrate for a few days. There I found a Bible in a shabby old bookstall. I think it was a gift from God, to help me draw close to Him.
Ever since I entered high school, I have tried hard to convince my peers that God exists, despite my grossly inadequate knowledge of Him. Recently one of my classmates began to show some interest, so I let him read my Bible. Before long, he too came to believe in God! So I gave him my precious Bible, leaving myself with none. I hope you will be generous and consider giving me a Bible. It would be even better if you could give me several copies so I can give them to my friends.
