While the recession has certainly been a challenge for all of us, there’s plenty we can learn from it, such as how to use our money wisely… and efficiently! And that’s exactly what we’re doing at FEBC.

In our Russian Department, we’re striving to make our programs reach their target audience through satellite broadcasting… with the goal of seeing more lives transformed by Christ, such as Sergei:

I just began listening to FEBC broadcasts and I now know I’m a sinner. I repented of my sins and asked God to make me strong in my faith. Please pray that God will lead me and bless my life.

Reaching Restricted Areas
The good thing about satellite broadcasting is that it’s effective without being expensive. FEBC’s satellite broadcasts are now available to thousands who could not previously tune in, especially in the far northern regions of Russia, Siberia, and Belarus, where the government restricts any type of evangelism.

Toll-free Number Encourages Feedback
Our Russian Department also established a toll-free phone number so that listeners throughout Russia can call with their questions, heartaches, and testimonies, such as Maria who called from a small town in the Russian Far East:

As I listened to your program yesterday, I decided to accept Christ. I’m overwhelmed with the love that flows from your station. I now want to find a church in my town.
