When Maria, a resident of St. Petersburg, lost her job and was unable to pay her rent, she found herself on the streets. A Christian couple with a spare room in their apartment heard about Maria’s plight and offered to take her into their home.

Every day when they left for work, they made sure their radio was tuned to FEBC. While Maria searched the want ads, puttered around the house, or prepared dinner, God used those programs to speak to her heart. Within two months she accepted Jesus as her Savior and became involved in a local church.

The homeless woman with no faith now has a roof over her heard, the fellowship of other believers, a church where she is growing spiritually, and a Heavenly Father…all because of the goodness of a couple willing to do exactly what Jesus would do…help those in need.
