"General Kim is truly an answer to my prayers," said Dr. Kim recently. "I am confident that his commitment, dedication, and leadership will be a great asset to the ministry."

General Kim was raised in a Buddhist family, but accepted Christ as his Savior in 1984 during his studies at the U.S. Naval Post Graduate School.

As a member of the Air Force, he was not only known as a respected leader, but also a sincere Christian actively involved in ministry.

While serving as the Air Force Chief of Staff, he was also the head of Korea Military Christian Fellowship (KMCF), using his talents in management to strengthen the military Christian community. General Kim and his wife have two sons.

Please remember to pray for General Kim as he continues to adjust to his new role at FEBC-Korea, and that God would grow the ministry even further under his capable leadership.
