Who's Listening in RussiaFEBC started airing programs to Russia via short wave in the late 1940s. In February of 1992-after the fall of communism-FEBC began operating from within the country. Russian staff members support the outreach of the local church through broadcasts originating in the C.I.S. (Commonwealth of Independent States). Approximately 3,500 letters flow into FEBC-Russia's offices every month. FEBC-Russia reaches a variety of ethnic groups within the C.I.S. and surrounding countries, such as Ukraine and Kazakhstan.
Listener letterI listened to your programs every day for the last month. I never heard anything like it in my life: all spiritual mysteries seem so clear to me now. I am interested in the Christian religion, and am looking for deeper meaning in my life. A few months ago I began reading the Bible, but it was very difficult for me to understand. I feel that there is great wisdom in the Bible, but simply cannot grasp it and apply it to my own life. This is why I am so grateful for your programs: they answer my questions. I see how Biblical principles are already working in my life. Thank you
