the Wests

Guy has put his many years of engineering experience to use as Project Director of FEBC Philippines. In his first term, he supervised construction of the Project SAVE short wave antennas and the installation of 3 new international short wave transmitters through his work with Project Redemption. He is looking forward to continuing his work of improving the equipment and operations of FEBC's local and international broadcast stations in the Philippines.

Chris is on staff at Faith Academy, a school dedicated to teaching the children of missionaries. As an educational therapist, she helps children learn more effective ways of learning. She is also praying to be able to help the program expand to local Filipino schools.

Encouraging Response

Chris recently shared a story of how she's seen God at work. "One of my students never choose to read or write, because it was too difficult for him. His mom told that now he is reading the Bible for himself during his devotions and taking notes on what God is telling him! His mother and I cried tears of joy together, rejoicing in the changes in her son's life!"

Meet the family

Guy and Chris have three children. Matthew is in 11th grade and loves mechanical things of all kinds and enjoyed learning to run the sound and light systems at Faith Academy. He is now living in Denver with his Aunt and Uncle, attending a school that offers classes to help him develop his technical abilities.

Lauren is in 9th grade and loves history and reading. This year she played soccer and is currently playing rugby. James is in sixth grade and is very excited to finally be a Boy Scout. He loves to cook and is a real "people person."
