Pai Lee

In 1979 Pai and her husband, John, moved to the U.S. and joined FEBC to develop broadcasts for Hmong listeners in Vietnam, Laos, China, Burma, and Thailand.

At first there was very little listener response. But John and Pai faithfully persevered. Eventually letters poured in faster than John and Pai could answer them! In fact, in 1990, reports from the field confirmed that in Vietnam alone, 330,000 Hmong had become believers as a result of FEBC's broadcasts!

In 2001 John died of a heart attack, leaving Pai to carry on alone. "I knew the ministry had to continue," Pai explained, "in spite of John's death and the financial challenges I faced."

Her commitment was recently reinforced by a visit to Thailand to visit Hmong listeners. "They miss John," Pai explained, "but they eagerly tune in to the broadcasts to learn more about the Bible and God's plan for their lives. Someday I'd love to live in Thailand again, to train people to lead others to Christ. This was the journey God gave us when we started with FEBC in 1979, and I plan to see it continue... to honor John and to honor God."
